Memorial Barras 08 - Payments
9/16/2008 6:01:35 PM

Dear Players,

Despite several reminders with the promoter of the tournament, the Alps Tour Golf Association did not receive the total amount of the prize-money and fees. The balance is always approx. 8,000 euro.

As our rule is to pay the players when we receive the total amount of the invoices, we waited for the last payment. Like it is a long time ago (3 months) we decided to pay the players ranked in the Top 15 of the Final results by 25th September. Other players will be paid as soon as we will receive the last payment from the promoter.

The Board of Directors presents its apologies to the players for this situation.

Thanks for your cooperation.
Regards

Estelle Richard & Alessandro Rogato

Alan Bihan (c) AS
Bihan wins after one-hole play off
6/15/2008 3:42:12 PM

Very tough day for the young french, Alan Bihan. He shot 76 and it was not enough to win after 54 holes.
Francis Valera, spanish but playing at home in Crans, has played a great golf and scored a solid 69. Hopefully for Bihan, he missed the birdy putt on the 18th for victory.

Bihan only needed one extra hole to win. He holed the putt and win the ticket to come and play again on European Tour in september.
He is now in the Top 10 of the order of merit.

Catch me if you can !

Alan Bihan shot 68 today, 4 under par. He has a 7-stroke-advantage over the field. He had changed his putter last week and he doesn't regret the previous one... Despite this hudge gap, the frenchman doesn't want to put the cart before the horses. "It is still one round to play but I am in good position. I know that the winner has an invitation to play the Omega European Masters, I am dreaming of teeing next to the best players in Europe..."

Three players to battlle for podium : Francis Valera, Jérôme Forestier and Andrea Zanini.
