Nouailhac ultimate win for ranking 10/12/2008 7:11:27 PM
Once upon a time, in a very nice village in Provence, on a beautiful golf course, one man, Dominique Nouailhac made his dream came through... Greats names are engraved on the trophy of Masters 13 : José Filipe Lima, Jeff Remésy, Mike Lorenzo Vera... This year, a new patronym : Dominique Nouailhac.
Leaders changed all day. Birdy against bogey, par against birdy, Joakimides dropped one shot on 17th and Nouailhac dropped one on 16th then they were all square at -15 with Mike Lorenzo Vera.
The 18th hole, a par 5, great finishing hole with water hazard on the left side of the green is often a scene for surprise. Joakimides holed the putt for birdy and Nouailhac, who had never made a birdy on this hole for all week holed it too.
The two men went to a play off but the story was quickly ended. The parisian, Dominique Nouailhac holed the putt again and lifted the trophy with a huge smile...
This victory lets him enter the Top 5 of the ranking. He gets his card for the Challenge TOur next year. Good job for Grillon, Riu, Guerrier and Menut who confirmed their places for next year on the upper circuit.

Masters 13, the longest day 10/10/2008 11:58:16 AM
It took one day and a half to finish first round at Pont Royal, south of France. Fog has delayed twice the tee times. Once on thursday et and again when play had to resume on friday morning.
This was a big trouble for some of the players but good draw for Nicolas Pamard and Craig Farrelly both scored 65 yesterday.
Stars of European Tour, Jeff Remésy scored 67 and defending champion Mike Lorenzo-Vera posted a 69 this morning.
Cedric Menut who had lost his ticket to Challenge Tour last week and Adrien Mörk who had "stolen" this precious fifth place at the order of merit, are both 5th after signoing a card of 68.
